Biljana Horn, MD, MPH

Dr. Horn is a pediatric hematologist-oncologist and a bone marrow transplant physician with 33 years of experience in hematology, oncology, cellular therapy, immunodeficienies, pediatric brain tumors and drug development. She spent most of her career as an attending physician and Medical Director of Pediatric Clinical BMT Program and Apheresis Program at the University of California San Francisco, and she also directed Pediatric BMT and Cell Therapy Program at the University of Florida. She founded and chaired Florida Pediatric BMT and Cell Therapy Consortium which focuses on improvement in patient outcomes.

Dr. Horn has been a FACT inspector since 2003 and has performed numerous FACT inspection nationally and internationally. She also volunteers as an Invited BMT and Cell Therapy Faculty for Vietnam pediatric hematology-Oncology Programme. She has extensively published in the field of pediatric hematology-oncology and bone marrow transplantation.
